Emily Mitchell is the owner/broker of SeaMitchell Realty & Gulf Beach Rentals in Orange Beach. Emily moved to Alabama in March of 2005 after vacationing in OB/GS for more than 20 years. After pursuing a BFA from Ball State University in Indiana with a concentration in Theater Design and Production and a summer trip to the beach she made the leap and headed south for good.
In 2007 she met her husband, fellow Realtor, Chad Mitchell. Chad had also migrated to the beach for a Real Estate career. Formerly a wine salesperson in the greater Atlanta, the Real Estate market was too good to pass up and he and his father, Charles Mitchell, and his brother Todd Mitchell formed the SeaMitchell Properties team.
Chad and Emily were married in 2010 and welcomed a son in late 2011. Charles retired from the business in 2012 at which time Emily and Chad decided that working for one of the “big” real estate companies was no longer necessary. Emily also wanted to manage vacation rentals for the clients who purchased property here at the beach.
In August of 2012 Gulf Beach Rentals became part of the SeaMitchell Family and they haven’t looked back since. SeaMitchell is a SMALL company with about 15 rental units all owned by clients of theirs whom they have developed close relationships with. Emily and Chad pride themselves on personal connections, dedicated service, local knowledge and communication.
